Jura Capresso

Close your eyes and imagine your perfect cup of espresso.  The warmth as the steam curls toward the ceiling.  The pressure as water shoots through a specific amount of finely ground coffee beans.  A few ounces of rich, dark liquid steadily pouring into a glass or ceramic cup (whichever you prefer for the perfect cup).  The full aromas wafting through the air as you raise the cup to your face.  The sensation of the thick foam touching your lips, having captured the complete essence of the coffee.  That robust flavor splashing over your tongue and you smile as you savor that first sip.  You can just feel the heat radiating out of the cup into your hands as you hold it like the gem it is.

Now, wouldn’t it be fantastic to have that perfection every day without having to travel all the way to a coffee shop to get it?  The hustle and bustle of getting to the shop, of waiting in line with a dozen other irritated and impatient customers.  The so-so quality of an espresso made by a young kid who just works there because they need the money to get through high school or college.  The way you accept this quality because, after all, you don’t know the art of making espresso.  That’s what you’ve heard anyway.  You drink this cup of acceptable liquid because everyone says that’s what the creation of espresso is – an art.  Besides, why would you ever buy a home machine anyway?  Have you already forgotten?  You like espresso.  So take all that money you’ve been spending on sub-par beverages and invest it into a high-class Jura Capresso espresso machine (ooh, now isn’t that a fun mouthful?).  Jura Capresso espresso machines are the artists – you simply need to enjoy the creation.

Jura Capresso History

As fun as the name is, Jura Capresso didn’t start out by that label.  Instead, it is actually a merger of two companies that had different ideas, but whose goals would eventually become one, Capresso Inc. and Jura AG.

Capresso Inc. was founded in 1994 by Michael Kramm.  A surprise to many, as often people realize that espresso companies and brands have much longer histories, stretching as far back as the 1900s.  But those who know Kramm’s name understand a little tidbit of history.  Kramm came to the United States from his native Germany in 1976.  Originally, he came to the United States in order to promote another popular brand, Krups.  For a time, he acted as the President of Krups until he finally broke away and formed his new company of Capresso Inc.  With over 20 years of experience under his belt, he wanted to cater to the specific tastes of the American coffee connoisseur.  He realized that the United States was getting used to and interested in the concept of high-end espresso making, but he didn’t feel that people were taking that step.  Kramm believed that he could bring the best machines into the American home, thus giving people a better cup of coffee than they’d ever had before.  He truly believed that coffee made with his machines constantly created a better and fresher cup than what consumers typically purchased.  It was time to up the ante in the United States.

Kramm understood that he had to find a middle ground, and find it he did.  His company began to develop machines that were high-end, focusing more on the best result possible from the product as opposed to what was more affordable.  The Jura Capresso espresso machines made by the company were not cheap, but what consumers paid for was a high quality product and high quality coffee.  The goal was to sell to people who refused to settle for second best, and they found plenty customers who were ready to buy.

Jura AG began far from Michael Kramm and his company.  It got its start in Switzerland, long before Kramm, in 1931.  The Swiss company was committed to creating appliances and espresso makers.  Eventually, the two companies began to talk with one another, and quickly realized that combining their forces could help them achieve their main goal of becoming a world leader in coffee and espresso makers.  Becoming a global brand appealed to everyone so the two companies finally came together as one.  Together they create Jura Capresso espresso machines such as the Ultima and mini-s.

Winning various design and performance awards, the Jura Capresso espresso machine is a product that always looks ahead for new style, better than ever espresso results, and strives to be the one and only item that espresso drinkers and coffee enthusiasts turn to for their next cup.

What Jura Capresso is Known For

This is a company that refuses to compromise its integrity or its products just to satisfy the masses.  They cater to a very specific group of people.  No matter what the market demands, they will not change a thing unless their particular demographic demands it.  Their Automatic Coffee Centers boast a multitude of options that you won’t be able to find elsewhere in coffee and espresso machines.  In the Jura Capresso espresso machine, you will discover multi-language functions, LED displays, a wide array of space saving techniques, energy conserving ideas, and features like the One Touch Cappuccino buttons.

They understand that a coffee maker or espresso machine will sit on a person’s kitchen counter for 356 days a year, for many, many years.  They make their products with this very thing in mind, so they make sure to bring out styles you will enjoy year after year, as well as making their products out of sturdy and durable materials that also provide for an easy cleaning experience.  They will not make anything except finely engineered items that offer every buyer the best performance as well as convenience a cut above the rest.  Not only do they promise reliability of their products, but if something goes wrong, they want to know about it, offering amazing customer service that is currently lacking in today’s society.  While other places remain impersonal and uncaring about their customers, Jura Capresso is right at the forefront, every step of the way.
